I always love the satisfaction of using something I have made from the freezer or pantry.
It gives me the “homemade” feeling but the benefit of being such a time saver. This happened most recently with Tomato Sauce from the freezer I wrote about. Mixed with a bit of gnocchi, topped with fresh herbs and shaved Parmesan cheese, dinner was served!
Now, I have used all I made so must make another batch. It is too easy not to do so but have to do it before the tomatoes are out of season. Off to the farmers’ market….
