Juniper and Rose Cookery School Launched

My friend and cookbook author of Prepped, Vanessa Kimbell, has opened a cookery school called Juniper and Rose. Juniper and Rose Kitchen Garden School is located in Pitsford in Northamptonshire and seems a world away from the hustle and bustle of every day life.  If you are looking for an inspiring way to start 2013, look no further.

The 2013 calendar has been published here. Anyone wanting to learn more about mushrooms, which are safe for picking and eating or learn to make Chinese dumplings,

it is worth checking out the website. As there is also a focus on gardening and general lifestyle topics, you can sign up for courses on how to keep chickens or grow beautiful roses. The most tempting for me are cooking with Lucas Hollweg, Sunday Times Magazine food writer, and the course on cordials, syrups and liqueurs. So many to choose from and worth the treat!

Vanessa is an amazing woman dedicated to ethically sourced ingredients.  She has put together numerous events such as this one to raise awareness.

  1. We might have to move there so that I can take some of those classes! Thanks for the post.

  2. Thank you for sharing this, it’s such a beautiful website and the courses look amazing; I’m interested in so many.. the difficulty is knowing which one to choose first!
