Recipe – Pisco Sour

Is it the sun (the occasional ray of sun, I mean)?  Not sure but it seems the time is right for Pisco Sours!

Makes 3-4 servings

1/2 cup, Simple syrup (half hot water/half Demerara sugar), cooled to room temperature to refrigerated temperature

1/2 cup, Pisco (grape brandy)

1/2 cup, Lemon juice, freshly squeezed

1 Egg white

Ice cubes

Dash, bitters

Place all but the bitters in a blender, blitz, pour into pretty glasses.  Top with a dash of bitters and any adornments you would like.

Enjoy in the sun (if you can find a bit)!

  1. Oh lovely, a Pisco Sour. Haven’t had one in quite a few years…but now thinking I should seek out some Pisco. Loving your glasses too!

  2. I agree about the glasses – they are beautiful. They look like you should be sipping hot butter rum from them in a Narnian winter landscape. I’ve never heard of Grape Brandy before. is the grape taste very strong? I wonder what you could bake with it.
