Who I Am

…. and why I started this blog

I am one of many Americans living in West London and thoroughly enjoying it.  London is the best city in the world and I wanted a way to share things I find to do, cook, eat, and see.  I spend hours planning days/nights out in London, meals to cook, things to do and some of the best times have been found on other blogs.  I figured it would be nice to share some of the good and bad stuff I have found along the way.  Just to warn you, there will be a lot about food….eating out, cooking new recipes, and going to food markets or food shops.  I like to exercise but mainly just so that I can feel justified in my quest to eat more good food.  I will do my best to accompany posts with pictures but am not one to like to take many inside restaurants.

The website name came from a nickname my husband gave me due to my inability to sit still.  Living in London has only made it that much harder as there is so much to see, do, and eat!

Hope you enjoy what you read.  Come back often.

  3. In 2005 I was lucky enough to leave the country for the first time (the Bahamas doesn’t really count to me!). My mom, brother, sister and I were in the UK for 8 days. Stayed near Paddington Station, went to York and Edinburgh. LOVED it all! Would love to go back and spend more time. Are you there for your husbands job?

    • Hi Carol – We are here because we wanted to live here and not specifically for either of our jobs. The UK is a wonderful place to visit with much to see and do. And for you, a great place to photograph!!
